Olivia Song is a British producer of Chinese heritage and Founder of Velvet Tiger Productions. A National Film & Television School graduate with a background in modern languages and documentary filmmaking, she brings a global perspective and a collaborative, solutions-driven approach to production.
A BFI NETWORK recipient (2024), Olivia’s debut feature Deadbeat is in post-production, with a second feature selected for the inaugural FUNNY FEATURES Comedy Talent Lab at Glasgow Film Festival (2025). Her work has screened at Oscar, BAFTA and BIFA qualifying festivals, earning major jury and audience awards.
Through Velvet Tiger Productions, Olivia develops bold, culturally resonant short and feature films, as well as premium screen projects across the UK, Europe and Asia, championing underrepresented voices and building inclusive, creatively ambitious collaborations.
